Platinum Classic Citrus Black. This is an iron gall fountain pen ink with gorgeous shading and dramatic color change from light yellow to dark khaki. Even though it’s iron gall, Citrus Black behaved beautifully in my vintage Pelikan and cleaned out very easily.

Papier Plume Pecan. Okay, let me announce a total ink crush. Papier Plume Pecan arrived Saturday. The same day, I put it in a Pelikan Toledo with fine nib, and Holy Toledo! I’ve been writing with Papier Plume Pecan constantly since. It’s a perfect sepia color.

KWZ Grapefruit. Just a tiny Ink Snippet today, because I only started using KWZ Grapefruit two days ago. But it’s such a fun ink that I wanted to share a few photos. KWZ Grapefruit really pops.
As you can see, Grapefruit is a dramatic, saturated orange red (or is that a red orange?). It’s a very wet ink, too, at least in this Safari. There isn’t much shading, and it’s a nice strong color.
I love inks that straddle the red/orange border. I really look forward to using KWZ Grapefruit more, and reviewing it.
Here we go: Aurora Blue Black, size large.
We’ve already seen Aurora Blue Black in a (normal to me) Aurora Optima with fine nib. And from the wispiest of nibs, a Lamy 2000 extra-fine. To see what Papa Bear makes of the ink, I pulled out a Montblanc with broad nib.
