The Field Notes Fall 2017 quarterly edition arrived yesterday. It is Dime Novel, a set of two slightly larger notebooks, which is modeled after inexpensive paperback “dime novels” sold between 1860 and 1930. The Field Notes Dime Novel is slightly larger than the usual Field Notes memo book, with 72 blank pages of thicker-than-normal paper. It’s beautifully done.
