There’s a little bit of interest for me since I am from Maine and I use a pocket notebook in my shirt pocket for my daily calendar, but the paper in FN cannot handle my pens and right now Matt Armstrong’s Inky things are doing the job for me wonderfully, and with wheat paper (!).

I really like the iedea behind the Field Notes, their design and everything else except the paper. This ppaper sucks. That’s why I’ll never buy FN again 🙂

Since they aren’t fountain pen friendly, I will pass. I do LOVE the look of them though. I have always loved LL Bean stuff. I used to get their catalog. The last time I bought anything from them was about 3-4 years ago. I am glad you were able to score some of those notebooks. I imagine there is a huge group of people desperate to grab a pack of them. If they were fountain pen friendly, I’d have to get at least one pack.
