By the standards of these things, my Pelikan M600 Vibrant Orange isn’t really “new” any more, since I got it back before Thanksgiving. But I still like it! And I’m going to post a lot of photos for those thinking about it.

Great write-up. I think youโve captured this really well, especially on the variations in the material. My thoughts when I opened mine were of marmalade (not that I spend that much time thinking about marmalade), so Iโm slightly reassured that Iโm not entirely weird in having that reaction. ๐ Iโm currently loving mine…

Great review. Orange is not a colour I gravitate to, so I am not smitten with lust for this one.

Hey, I was going to put a quote in here from Prufrock, which you would have caught. ๐
Also a quote from The Good Place! Let’s do that one. “I’m telling you, Molotov cocktails work… Anytime I had a problem and I threw a Molotov cocktail, boom! Right away, I had a different problem.”

Stupid WordPress won’t let me log in to ‘Like’ your comment. Since I have to now TYPE SOMETHING, I’ll correct my remark to “That is one hilariously orange pen.” Happy? ๐

WordPress is such a mess. I’ve had to switch to Chrome to “like” anyone else’s blog, too, and I have a blog myself. It’s annoying. However, on the bright side, now Google has much more information on me to peddle around.
Hilariously orange works for me, yes! Good one! It’s pretty dope.

Great write-up. Very tempting. Especially with references to zingy and marmalade. Personally I would enjoy being able to see the nib through the cap so I do not think of the transparency as a negative. But you sold your Sole? To the devil?

To a very nice person!
I sold it last spring, because I’d heard Pelikan was finally going to come out with an M600 orange, and I knew I didn’t need two beautiful, expensive orange pens. Being over-penned, I try to roughly balance inflow and outflow every year: sell some, buy some. ๐
