Ink Review: Papier Plume House of the Rising Sun

Papier Plume House of the Rising Sun

Papier Plume House of the Rising Sun. Papier Plume is coming out with a new ink, a dynamic and peppy reddish orange called House of the Rising Sun, and it really does remind me of the rising sun.

        1. Congratulations! You are well on your way to the proper number of Safaris and Al-Stars, which is dozens, and also of white pens, which is more than one ever dreamed, even if it’s only one. πŸ™‚

  1. A very thorough review! It looks a useful ink to have, being dark enough not to be too frivolous. Also a great name; you can imagine the song blaring out every time you uncap the bottle. They could make a “Dark Side of the Moon” too. Except that there would be absolutely no relevance to New Orleans.

  2. Looks like a winner all the way around to me. You absolutely nailed the review, on every front. This is one of the colors I adore, so it is in my wheelhouse for sure.

  3. What a great review, no stone un-turned!
But if I had an orange ink, I would need an orange pen… Hmm, haven’t Sailor produced one of those recently?

    1. Excellent lyrical flight of fancy there! Isn’t House of the Rising Sun a great name for an ink, too?

I am living proof one can use an orange ink in any pen. So, I say, no, just buy the ink. πŸ™‚ It’s a lot cheaper, too. πŸ™‚

      1. It is a great name, and you’re right, it just had to be orange too. But I’m not sure about this putting inks in any pen. I’m not quite sure I’m ready for that yet… I’ve only recently started buying colors that aren’t black or blue πŸ™‚
