Pen of the Day: Pelikan M450 Tortoise

I am a very lucky pen owner to have stumbled upon this one.

The ink is Stipula Verde Muschiato, which is a muddy, brownish green that sounds like it could be awful, but turns out to be interesting and I think beautiful. Not a traditional green, though.

  1. This ink looks like what Rome Burning wanted to be, but isn’t. That ochre-gold color, but RB is sort of muddy and wishy-washy where this is subtle and unusual. Looks great for creating an old-timey look, but more subtle than browns and sepias.
