First is Ivy 108. This gorgeous green ink is inspired by the Chicago Cubs baseball team. This past November the Cubs won the World Series for the first time in 108 years. You may have heard: we made a fuss. We played a lot of Steve Goodman songs about the Cubs, too. Well, tonight is the Cubs’ home opener, at venerable Wrigley Field, known for its ivy-covered walls.
That’s Ivy 108.
Next comes Lake Michigan Summer.
Faithful blog readers may remember a sneak peek of this ink, then a mystery ink, as the highlight of a post on Monteverde Green.
Lake Michigan Summer is a shimmering blue-green, a color inspired by the Chicago lakefront. It’s a perfect color. We love our summers here, and our beautiful public lakefront.
This ink is Lake Michigan Summer.

Easy! Come to the Chicago Pen Show. In fact, buy a weekend pass or a Friday-Sunday pass. (Public hours are not till noon Friday.)
Okay, we realize not everyone can come. Even though you really should. 🙂 So … there’s going to be another way. Papier Plume has graciously agreed to donate one bottle of each ink, which I will give away here. Watch for the next few day’s of Fountain Pen Follies posts and enter then.
