An OBB nib is pretty much the opposite of the fine point Architect’s grind. This OBB lays down a beautifully broad swatch of ink, with broad vertical lines and deliciously thin horizontals. The ink here is Kaweco Summer Purple.
It’s very easy to write with. But how broad is it? As broad as can be. Here it is compared to a Kaweco Sport extra-fine and a Montblanc broad nib. It dwarfs even the Montblanc broad nib. But it looks so cool with that amazing line variation.

So you’re not going to hide this nib’s light under a barrel. I couldn’t make it write small when I tried. But that’s not what this nib is for. It’s meant to splash out. An entire page written with this nib looks great. I don’t often like wide nibs, but I sure like this one.

That’s some really impressive line variation.
It’d be really cool to see how J.Herbin’s 1670 or Diamine’s shimmer line look coming out of the pen.
