Pen of the Day: Montblanc Agatha Christie

Montblanc Agath Christie fountain pen with Montblanc Leo Tolstoy Sky Blue ink

Montblanc Agatha Christie with fine nib. The Chicago Pen Show starts in just a few days, so I inked my Christie in hopes it will armor me against any impulse to buy. I’m going with: “What could be better than this one?”

And if that doesn’t work, scary snake eyes might. Except they aren’t so scary, darn it.

With a really nice blue ink in Montblanc Tolstoy.

  1. That is a beautiful, beautiful pen. Really.
And I’m thinking you’re not being helpful, Chrissy 🙂 Though I’d hope I could come, too. Sadly, my way to Chicago (from Germany) is a bit too long for a spontaneous trip. And then I really couldn’t buy a thing, and that’d be rather depressing.
Darn… you guys’ll go and post a LOT of pictures of it, though, I hope.
Though it does keep me from buying beautiful pens like this at prices I really can’t afford, so maybe I’m lucky

    1. See that’s a positive spin, and that’s what I’m going for, too. It’s actually fun to just be there, talking to people and looking at the pens I will never buy. 🙂

I will try to post photos, too.
